New YorkThe Legacy Choirs in conjunction with the Legacy Band and Theater departments are planning an educational trip to New York City for March, 2019. This trip is optional for all choir students. This is going to be an outstanding opportunity for students to visit New York and see sites like the Statue of Liberty and the 9/11 Memorial. We will also be seeing at least two Broadway Shows and participating in a workshop with members of a Broadway show cast. We hope that your student will be able to participate in this exciting opportunity! Please contact Mr. Powell with any questions. Voice LessonsEvery student in the Legacy Choral Program has the opportunity to take voice lessons from our wonderful voice faculty. Please see our staff page to view their bios. Voice lessons provide our students with individual coaching and musical training. By choosing to participate in this Program, students will receive high quality, individualized instruction from degreed professionals through which they will develop an even greater understanding of healthy singing and performance habits. Students enrolled in voice lessons through this program will benefit from extra educational opportunities including solo performances and master classes throughout the year. The forms to enroll in voice lessons can be found on our forms page, or obtained from Mr. Powell or Ms. Lafferty A Message from our BoostersWe are pleased to announce we have formed an official booster club, Voice of Legacy Choir Boosters. There will be members of our booster council attending Tuesday's meet the teacher night. We will be offering discounted choir merchandise and have our official parent merchandise for 2018-2019 order form available. We look forward to an exciting year! A Message from our Student OfficersHi, I'm Molly! I'm your student president! We just had our Freshmen Breakfast and it was a huge success! Thank you to everyone that came and participated! We have some great things happening this year! Speaking of which, we have tutoring/studying sessions after school on Monday's and Friday's. There will be several upperclassmen there to help you with your homework or help you study if you're struggling in a class. All of the upperclassmen have been or are in AP/TCC classes, and I bet at least one of us has taken the class you need help with. Or just come and study, or read your textbook like me, in an environment that is calm and easy to focus. I hope to see you there! Freshman Breakfast
