We hope you've had a relaxing and fun summer. While you've been away, we have been working to prepare for August activities and the start of school. Below we will share some of the work we have done and exciting things to look forward to in the month of August.
We have also added a leader to our Legacy Choral Department Family. Lauren Lafferty joins us as assistant choral director. Ms. Lafferty's bio can be found under the directors tab on our website or by clicking here.

Show Choir Camp
The week of the 6th was a busy one for Silver Elite! Our show choir was at the school Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. They have danced, laughed, and sweat their hearts out. They will resume after school rehearsals Tuesday the 21st from 3:00-4:30pm.
Every student in the Legacy Choral Program has the opportunity to take voice lessons from our wonderful voice faculty. Please see our staff page to view their bios. Voice lessons provide our students with individual coaching and musical training. By choosing to participate in this Program, students will receive high quality, individualized instruction from degreed professionals through which they will develop an even greater understanding of healthy singing and performance habits. Students enrolled in voice lessons through this program will benefit from extra educational opportunities including solo performances and master classes throughout the year. The forms to enroll in voice lessons can be found on our forms page, or obtained from Mr. Powell or Ms. Lafferty
Forms and Fees
We have several social events and activities that are provided for our students. Along with T-Shirts and competitions in the spring, the Legacy Choral Department depends on yearly choir fees. This years fees can be paid online (Click the link at the bottom of our homepage) or by cash/check brought to the choir room. Our handbook and yearly forms can be found on the forms page. The field trip release form must be turned in to us next week. All other forms will be completed online this year through google classroom. Students will be able to access google classroom next week and we will add the link to each class' page.
Meet our Student Officers
Hello from your Choir Officers for the 2018-2019 school year! We are proud to represent the choir and their accomplishments. We are starting something new this year; A study group! Every Monday and Friday students that would like help with school work can come after school on those days and get help from upperclassman and the choir officers. We encourage choir students to come to these study sessions so we can all be eligible for competitions and trips.
